William Tell Me Again!

William Mons of Greymouth and his father Richard were fishing off the Greymouth Wharf on a beautiful West Coast Sunday in February when William managed to bring in this mighty 8.5lb brown trout unassisted. William already had bragging rights after the 5lb trout he and Richard caught just over a week ago in a nearby spot. Not bad for a 7-year-old!
William is great mates with twin boys Max and George Rubbo who like to brag about the monster trout Max caught once and featured in The Fishing Paper. The three of them drag the copy out regularly to re-live fishy tales and for such young fellas, they certainly have plenty of great stories to tell! Now that William has made it into The Fishing Paper Hall of Fame, it's going to be a case of - William tell the story of the big trout ... again and again and again!
